Welcome to the Rotary Club of Kalyan City!
At the Rotary Club of Kalyan City, we are driven by the guiding principles of service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. Chartered on May 18, 2023, we’ve swiftly embarked on a journey to make a profound impact within our community and beyond.
We are incredibly proud of our rapid growth. As we moved through our first operational year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024), our membership soared, and we’ve continued this momentum. We’ve not only met but exceeded our initial goals, now boasting a strong membership of 45 dedicated individuals! And the best part? We’re on track to surpass 60 members by the end of this year! This remarkable expansion truly highlights our unwavering commitment to serving humanity and creating meaningful change in the lives of those around us.
Our club meetings currently take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at the Kalyan Mahila Mandal Hall. While this venue has served us well, with our growing numbers, we are actively exploring options for a larger space to comfortably accommodate our expanding community of service-minded individuals.
At the heart of our club’s mission are diverse community-based projects that cater to the needs of youth, the elderly, and differently-abled individuals. These initiatives span across the five key avenues of Rotary: International, Vocational, Community, New Generation, and Club Services. By addressing a wide range of needs, we strive to create a lasting and positive impact that resonates far and wide.
A cornerstone initiative for us is the establishment of a community service center. This center will serve as a vital hub, offering skill development, mental health counseling, career guidance, leadership development, and more. Our goal is to empower individuals and nurture their potential to lead fulfilling lives.
Diversity is fundamental to our club. It’s reflected not only in the balanced gender representation among our members but also in their varied professional backgrounds. With a mix of experienced individuals from diverse fields, we bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and perspectives to the table, significantly enriching our collective efforts towards service and fellowship.
As we look ahead, the prospects for the Rotary Club of Kalyan City are exceptionally promising. Despite being a relatively new addition to the Rotary family, our members bring extensive experience and hold a strong standing within our community.
